- Budget reality: shared liveaboards run $780–$1,450
pp in 2027; private charters $1,600–$3,900 pp for two (falling fast with
group size); combos $950–$1,800 pp. If a number materially below that
range is tempting you elsewhere, ask that operator the five vetting

first. - Lead time: July–August departures should be locked
4–6 months out; shoulder season 6–8 weeks. Last-minute (under 3 weeks)
is sometimes possible — WhatsApp me, because form-lag wastes hours you
may not have. - Season: April–June and September–November are the
golden windows. If your dates fall in December–March, say so and I will
send the wet-season version of the route with its written flexibility

Is the inquiry binding or paid? No. The plan and

hours Labuan Bajo time (WITA, UTC+8); 24 hours guaranteed. If I am at
sea without signal, the auto-reply states exactly when I surface.
Can I just ask questions without booking intent?
Yes, genuinely. Half my WhatsApp threads start as “is 5 days enough?” —
many of the answers are already on the FAQ page, but
I would rather you ask than book the wrong trip anywhere.
What deposit and refund terms apply? 30% deposit to
lock, balance 30 days out. Weather-forced changes rebook without penalty
under the written terms on the trust page;
discretionary cancellation tiers are stated on every quote before you
pay.
Do you take last-minute bookings? When boats have
space, yes — I have placed guests four days out in shoulder season.
